Help Us Feed Mid-Michigan Families!
In the spring of 2025, the USDA abruptly halted food deliveries to Feeding America food banks, creating major shortages for people already struggling to make ends meet. Now, a second — and even more serious — challenge has arrived: the ongoing federal government shutdown has cut off SNAP (food assistance) benefits, leaving many local families without the resources they depend on.
Last spring, with your incredible help, Health & Harmony collected more than 600 pounds of food for the Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB). This fall, we’re expanding our efforts to include both food and fund donations — because it turns our that not everyone carries canned goods on them, but everyone can help make a difference.
💚 100% of all donations go directly to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, which serves more than 100,000 people across seven Mid-Michigan counties, including children, working families, and seniors.

As a heartfelt thank-you, we’re offering one-time donation credits to show our appreciation for those who give:
- 🥫 Earn $1 in account credit per pound of food donated (up to $10)
- 💵 Earn a dollar-for-dollar account credit for cash or Venmo donations (up to $10)
These credits are a small way for us to say thank you for helping us make a real, local impact. Your generosity helps fill shelves, nourish families, and strengthen our Mid-Michigan community. Together, we can restock shelves, support our neighbors, and make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

We’d love to help you turn your pantry clean-out into kindness! Please donate non-expired, non-perishable food items only, and skip anything in glass containers, as GLFB can’t accept them.
Looking to make a bigger impact? Local warehouse stores like Costco, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, and Gordon Food Service are great spots for purchasing bulk food donations that stretch even further.
